Terre Alte and related services are made available to you in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read them carefully before ordering. Terre Alte is a company registered in Italy at the address: Terre Alte srl – Via Portogallo 14, 47900 Rimini (RN). Our VAT number is 02044450407. We periodically make amendments to these Terms and to the information contained in our website, so we advise you to check back often. Your statutory rights shall remain unaffected by these Terms & Conditions.


Once an order is placed you will receive a confirmation acknowledging your details. This is an acknowledgement of your details and is not a confirmation of your order. A contract between you and Terre Alte is confirmed once you receive an email with your tracking information. We reserve the right not to accept your order if the item is out of stock, does not pass our quality checking stage, or if we are unable to obtain authorization for payment. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.


Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices that appear on the Website are accurate, there may be cases where errors occur. If we discover an error in the price of any products that you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and, give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be treated as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the products, you will receive a full refund. If items that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay, or have detail or description errors we will try to contact you at the email address you provided. If we cannot contact you in regards to our out of stock orders we will cancel these within 48 hours and you will receive a full refund.


We aim to dispatch all orders within 7 working days subject to production, credit clearance and address verification. Shipments are insured whilst in transit from our warehouse until the parcel is signed for, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. The tracking information will be sent to you via email. If your tracking information is not available, please email web@terrealte.net. Terre Alte is not responsible for lost/stolen parcels. To ensure that your order reaches you as quickly as possible, please provide us with a telephone number. Any orders sent out that cannot be delivered will be returned to us and the customer will bear the costs for re-delivery.. We cannot take responsibility for delays due to customs clearance or payment transaction.


The country shown on the Invoice and the country of delivery must match.


We ship free throughout Italy.

**Shipments to Extra-EU countries

We ship DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid); any custom fee will be at your charge. The forwarder may claim the payment of an additional invoice for the amount due according to the local authorities’ regulations. We cannot guarantee that customs charges can be voided for a refused shipment. In this case, we will deduct the amount from your refund.


In Italy the following days are bank holidays as consequence the forwarder doesn’t make shipments on:

Terre Alte is not responsible for any delay due to force majeure.



You have 14 calendar days (from reception of the goods) to return or exchange your purchase.


Upon arrival, we will check the integrity of the goods and then we will credit back the amount on the credit card you have used for the payment.

The secure yarn present in each item mustn’t be cut or broken in case of return.


To make a return in Italy, you should just follow this procedure:


  1. Send us an email to web@terrealte.net and ask for your return authorization number
  2. Fill in the collection form that you have received with the shipment writing the authorization number, prepare the package, put inside the purchase receipt and a copy of the form filled
  3. Get in contact with the nearest Bartolini branch to book the pick up or go to the website brt.it and “book a collection on line”
  4. Give the package to the forwarder with the second copy of the collection form filled

As soon as the goods will be delivered to us, we will check them and credit back the amount paid.

Returns received after the 14 day period will not be accepted and will be returned to you. The shipping costs are your responsibility.

Return from abroad are at yours charge, including any eventual custom fee. It’s necessary to send us an email at web@terrealte.net to ask for authorization number. Our Customer Care will give you all the instructions on the correct procedure to follow. It is advisable to keep track of the car letter number of the shipment, as we can’t be liable for lost or damaged goods during transit.

Terre Alte is not responsible for any item that is not returned in the manner set forth above and we cannot accept responsibility for packages until we are in possession of them. Your statutory rights as a customer remain unaffected.



If you would like to exchange an item, you will need to return the original item and then place a new order. You will receive a full refund for the original item, according to our returns policy.


You can choose to pay with PayPal or with a credit card.
When selecting the PayPal option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal site to ‘Log In’ and review the amount shown before clicking ‘Pay Now’. Once this transaction is complete, you will then return to Terre Alte. We accept Visa, Master Card, American, Express, Maestro, Visa Electron, Aura and Discover. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order. We also reserve the right to cancel your order.
All transactions on this website are processed using Paypal and Braintreepayments, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. If you have any questions about paying online please contact us web@terrealte.net


Except in relation to our contractual obligations to supply goods following acceptance of orders placed on our website, neither we nor any of our directors, employees, suppliers or other representatives will be liable in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise for any loss or damage whatsoever in any way connected with your use of the website.
You agree fully to indemnify us, our directors, employees, suppliers or other representatives from and against all liabilities against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this website. We may terminate your use of the website immediately if we consider that you have breached these terms and conditions.


This website is owned and operated by Terre Alte. All content including pictures, designs, logos, photographs, written and other materials on our website are copyrighted to Terre Alte. All worldwide rights are reserved. This site and its contents may only be used for personal non-commercial use. Any reproduction in whole or in part of our website is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission.
